Hallo Good Morning, I'm Cindy Nur Oktaviani from collage of vocational studies of IPB University. at this moment i would like explain my opinion about

We think that what makes people have different kind of life trajectories about success or poor, being respected or being marginalized etc is not absolutely contingent on the perspective of knowledge, it’s about initial capital that this people have to begin with, it’s about how are they being nurtured and how the surrounding environment/culture view human kind.

Case : People harm you as minority (woman, black community or religious outlier) is not based on the metric of your intellectual quality (IQ), people judge you based on the structural norm of society that determined by the religious scripter or past trajectories as to how certain group or individual being treated based on their gender, race, colour in exchange the sole factor of intellectual abilities.

We don’t understand, how comes under the government bench change the status quo? Because, under our side, there are still countless minorities that can master their life by using their comparative advantage ai vibrant intellectual abilities, privilege etc.

We are facing a very severe problems today and its getting much more complex in the future ai : inevitable damage of climate crises, extreme poverty, super bacteria explosion etc etc. It’s almost impossible to address those challenges only by relying on the global average human capital,  even worse when their intellectual abilities is identical to begin with, what we need right now is the high an extra quality of human capital, we need super intelligent human by any means.

We say that in the current status quo, the effort in addressing the problems like climate crisis is not enough and sometimes problematic, there are lots of cases that show to you that the solution we are currently have is facing a bottleneck in the house/political institution (US opt-out from Paris Climate Agreement etc) and even though there are some other innovation from the private sector like Boyan Syat with interstellar, but again we are facing brute fact of its failure whilst the damage of further event is getting worse and demand an advance yet immediate solution to begin with, whereas we’ve seen hurricane Katrina more often these times, we’ve seen many people dying because of malnutritious, even millions of people are suffering from the covid-19 pandemic.

The question is : How this identical average of human abilities can address this problems?

You might say:

a. This motion can help the bottom of pyramid to climb up their economic status due to more equal opportunity to compete? Notice, this motion only equalize their intellectual abilities/knowledge not equalizing the wealth status, the traits, the social capital etc etc. Whereas, the key reasoning of success is often times driven by those factors, not exclusively/significantly in term of IQ. We think, the result will be more worse when everyone, notably low class people are at the same intellectual abilities, because you eliminate the major possibilities of outlier (vibrant smart-intellectual) entities that coming from the bottom of pyramid, Whilst under our side, those chances still remain rapidly.

b. You might say that this motion can arise an awareness of people in the bottom to achieve the success? Oh come on, awareness is arbitrary concept then how is it manifest to their action? Why is it comparatively better? Why then it’s exclusively happening on your side? Because in our case, a greater awareness is possibly to be achieved (elaborate more the context of current crisis, the effect of super intelligent legacy etc)

Further explained on how significant the role of this super intelligent (exclusivity), why it is empowering more people to solve the problem, comparative on minimum harm & bigger advantages.

Genetic manipulation as one of topic in sdgs no 3

Hallo Good Morning, I'm Cindy  Nur Oktaviani from collage of vocational studies of IPB University

Genetic manipulation or laso called genetic modification is the direct manipulation of an organism’s genes using biotechnology. It’s a set of technologies used to changethe genetic makeup of cells including the transfer of genes within and accross species boundaries to produce improved or novel organism. In my point of view, genetic manipulation technology is very beneficial especially curing someone from rare diseases. For example, in that video a baby was produced and designed to help her brother who is suffering from Thalassemia major. Thalassemia major is a disease in which lack of protein production in red blood cells that develops jaundice and slows human growth and development. In that case, genetic manipulation technology made embryo which has manipulated and then it was implanted to the mother’s womb. And after the baby turned 18 months, her spinal cord was transplanted to her brother. So that’s the procedure how Thalassemia major can be cured.

But even this genetic manipulation technology is very helpful for human, there must be some strict regulations from government about genetic manipulation technology. So this practice isn’t abused. There are some cases that use this procedure in wrong way. For example there are some families eho use this genetic manipulation technology to produce a baby according to thei wish such as the baby’s gender, immune system, etc. This certainly violates ethics and has an impact on future generation.

So the conclusion is the genetic manipulation technology will be very beneficial especially curing someone from rare diseases. But there must be some strict regulations from the government about this genetic manipulation technology. So there are No. ethical blunders in this practice which have impact on future generation.

SDGs No 2

Hallo Good Morning, I'm Cindy Nur Oktaviani from collage of vocational studies of IPB University. at this moment i would like explain my opinion about SDGs number 2.

Agriculture as a source of human life is a job sourced from agriculture. It's only right that we are more first know what is meant by agriculture. This question is a bit strange for everyone who knows what is meant by agriculture which is nothing but "cultivating crops". Indeed That's the meaning of agriculture in everyday conversation.
in everyday meaning it is often called by the name "agriculture in the narrow sense". More meaning of agriculture broader than the everyday meaning is that agriculture includes the fields of farming, fisheries, animal husbandry, and agricultural marketing.

As a tropical country with two seasons, Indonesia is blessed with fertility soil, that supports the growth of various types of plants. Other than that, with the large of control of the sea, the abundance of fishery products cannot be denied.
In fact, some of the agricultural products produced have a comparative advantage and become a primadonna for exports. Not only as a source of food and a source of foreign exchange, the agricultural sector supports the economic activities of most people. most indonesian people in rural areas rely on this sector. Unfortunately, most of them live below the poverty line. The low Farmer Exchange Rate/ illustrates the welfare of farmers who have not been as expected.

According to the 2018 Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the age group of farmers stated that the age group of farmers was less than 25 years old compared to farmers who were more than 65 years old. This is a problem because the productivity of old farmers is decreasing, while there is no regeneration to replace old farmers.

Thank you for your attention!
